This is just ridiculous. The more I try, the more it gets harder!! My dearest friend gave me $200 so I can give to the landlord for a security deposit. I tried to give it to him yesterday and he wouldn't except it because it wasn't the full amount!!! You gotta be kidding me. Now I have to come up with $700 and where is that suppose to come from, I don't know. All I know is I have to get my children out of here! I have until next Thursday, and after that I don't know where we may end up. I just hope and pray, it doesn't result to these drug and violent infested streets. Im in desperate need of a place to live!!!! I have no shelter and have to be out of my house by this coming monday february 12th... If anyone has any shelter please let me know!!! I have a 9lb 9 year old dog that can't be without her mommy so I can't go to a shelter.She sleeps 22 hrs out of the day..I have a little money and after a small female procedure should be able to return to work!!!! My wife and i moved to the Branson Mo area in spring of 2011.the armory core brought us here.with the hopes of a fresh start .we were told job was yr round include pay per month and FHU camp site.we sold what ever we could left the rest moved to MO .found out Armory Core job payed nothing just a FHU camp site.we worked it for 5 months with zero income no money left.found a seseanal job that ended in late nov.no money coming in cant get unemployement.my wife has a heart condition that requires her to take meds every day.no money to pay doctor for new script,no propane left for heat or cooking.o and FYI im not a bumb .i worked for over 25 yrs every day i could untill a pot head on the job got me hurt really bad.so been hard to find the job i can do.just any advice on how to get propane med script for my wife and maybe a little gas for truck to keep looking for work.

I have been contacting another local agency here since the beginning of this month and they still havent gotten to me yet and now I only have until the 23rd. The power company doesnt offer any programs here either.

Hi. My husband lost his job over a year ago. Despite solid work experience and a good resume, he's had no luck landing a job. He's burned though his IRA and 401k and had to pay ungodly penalties to withdrawal this money. In the meantime being a great husband and father, he elected to adopt my 3 children aged 13, 12 and 10 since their real dad has skipped town and offered nothing. Now, we are in pretty bad straits...on food stamps, paying off last year's tax bill, etc. It's really hard to make ends meet and provide the home he wants us to have. We started a small retail business to sell odds and ends but it's making us very little. Since we exhausted the last of our IRA in 2011 we owe again penalties on early withdrawal. It's killing us. Our tax bill coming up this April will be over $2000. We need help paying this. If anyone can point is in the right direction, we will not only appreciate it, we'll pay it forward once we again get back on our feet. Thank you.

Hello once again hope everyone is OK. Seems as if bad news is following me into the new year. First I want to say thanks to everyone that responded about my grandchldren they had a wonderful Christmas to the people that did help. Now I am in need it seems the house that I am renting has gone into foreclosure and my landlord didnt care to inform us but the people who brought the house did I now have until Feb. 7 to vacate here. Needless to say I have paid my rent for this month $600 and my landlord is nowhere to be found. I really need some financial help to find a place to live or if some one could let me move in until March 1, and I can start paying then any suggestions will really help me.  I have 2 of the grandchildren living with me and one has asthma.  We really need your help.

 in response to Jboy...   Hello and just wanted to say that as a Teacher and a mom of four, ive had my share of disagreements with kids..there are lines I never would cross and one of them is to call you names and put you down..but in all fairness we all say things we dont mean at times...I dont know the circumstances of whats being said in your home, or if there are pressures you family is under or the problems, but I can say that whats being said to you is wrong and hurtful..I do hope that your parents have never said they hated you..and if they did say It I sincerely hope they didnt mean it..through your 12 year old eyes the things they say when they are frustrated or tired may seem like they hate you and I know that my kids have felt the same way at different times in their lives. Is the military school a threat? Are your parents trying to make you change a certain behavior? Please take some time to try to see if there is anything you can do to make your situation any better..you are still very very young and theres nothing you have done that can be so badly it cant be undone..also be very careful with adults that you communicate with online and never give them your personal or contact information..things may be bad at home, but hopefully they will pass..if you feel that you need to talk that is what this site is for or even if you just want to let off steam..I hope you get past this quickly and that things work out with your parents..please update us on whats going on..the last thing I want to add, is to say Im not making excuses for your parents or any adult if they are always saying hurtful things..im not saying its ok, it is a form of verbal abuse and if things get so badly that you cant take it anymore or become physically abusive, then you should talk to a person you trust and know..a grandparent or uncle or someone that can help you work this out..be safe and try to be the best that you can be ..take care
